Donald Emerson retired as a Brigadier General after 35 years of service in the US Army and Montana Army National Guard. As a former senior officer, he is repeatedly asked to speak to various civilian groups about leadership and management at the small, medium, and large organizational levels. This has led him to develop leadership content that can be effectively delivered to large audiences or small seminar groups. He tailors his content based on input from the customer to cover a wide variety of leadership subjects. Additionally, he enjoys speaking about and providing context to historical and current ongoing military conflicts.   The US Army is currently undergoing a major transformation from Unified Land Operations to the new Multi-Domain Operations doctrine. Based on input, he will tailor content to cover requested military subjects based on interest and demand of the customer. During his career, he has experienced strategic planning using various systems: Total Quality Management (TQM), Lean Six Sigma, and Strategic Execution: The Leader's Edge. His experience with development and execution of strategic plans has given him a keen insight into what works and what does not. He can provide coaching and guidance to senior leaders that are considering a new plan or are struggling to make an existing plan work.
